The Kolbe Method
Retain Your People.
Casting for Companies is pleased to introduce the Kolbe Corp Wisdom® to Western Canada. Our cast members will identify strategies that will enable you to develop more effective teams by improving communications that help retain your people.
Have you ever wondered why two successful people approach the same job differently ?
Each individual has a unique combination of creative instincts, which allows you to focus energy and increase your productivity. Kolbe Indexes are the measurement tools used to identify the natural talents that drive the action people take to make decisions and solve problems.
Most people have been taught to conform to expectations, as opposed to harnessing their instinctive drive or natural ability. When we act instinctively our energy is allowed to flow effortlessly…like water running downhill.

Leslie Nadeau, Executive Producer of Casting for Companies,
adds the Kolbe helps people to choose fields of endeavor where they
feel comfortable and competent. This means the requirements of study and the subsequent job will come easier. So will the payoff.
Nadeau suggests even senior high students take a Kolbe exam before they
invest in post-secondary education.
The methodology supersedes personality testing because it identifies the
natural instincts and abilities inherent in the individual. A simple test
featuring multiple choice questions covers "most likely" and "least likely"
circumstances.
The traits are broken down into
four categories:
FACT FINDER determines the method a person researches or assesses information.
FOLLOW THRU reveals how a person stores and retrieves information in their brain.
QUICK START outlines how much a person is willing to take risk and deal with surprises.
IMPLEMENTOR determines how a person would deal with tasks, such as methodical or haphazard.
"Kolbe gives an explanation of how the student will work best and provide an
explanation of what their path to success will look like before they get to
university," she says. "Many of us have spent a lifetime trying to be what
were not. Many parents think they know their children. They're surprised
when the results come back and their kids are the complete opposite."
"If you love systematic structure, don't become a freelancer. If you are
crazy about physical models, don't force yourself to crunch financial
statistics for a living. We can identify what a student is naturally gifted
to do. Let's face it. We just want our kids to be happy and successful."
